| Welcome to the Northwest PEZ Convention website. Faye and I are your hosts for this year's convention. Faye, I, and our five boys started collecting PEZ in the summer of '92. Our first PEZ was a non-footed Bambi, which we still have to this day. As the story goes, Faye and I were junkin, I mean antiquing and shopping at thrift / second-hand stores dragging the kids along as we went. Well, it seemed to be a bit boring for them, so we told them that they could look around and find something that was both small and inexpensive (little did we know). They found the Bambi. One lead to two, which lead to three, and so on, and so on, you get the idea. We came out of the collecting closet in July of '97 by introducing ourselves to "The Wonderful World of PEZ" on the PEZHeads Email List. We have been to a number of conventions thorough-out the years and have always had a deep desire to host a convention ourselves. Sincerely, Bob & Faye Tipton |
